Two newborns were buried in the garden of a local babysitter, according to the results of an infanticide inquiry.

After it was purported by DNA testing that Chiara Petrolini, 22, was the mother of the boy who was among the infants discovered buried in her garden, she was taken into custody.
Living with her parents, Petrolini was referred to as a “model university student” and was on vacation in New York when the disturbing revelation was made by the police. When Petrolini’s grandmother’s dog discovered a body in the garden of the sleepy Italian village of Vignale di Traversetolo, close to Parmer, last month, August, an investigation into the area was launched.
According to a leaked autopsy report, “soil found in the lungs” indicated the baby had been buried alive.
A second body was found last week, although the infant’s de@th has not yet been made public.
The first baby’s postmortem identified Petrolini’s 22-year-old lover, known locally as Emanuele, as the father.
Unverified rumours state that Petrolini’s confession to the police led to the discovery of the second body.
She has apparently stated that she acted alone and without anyone else’s knowledge while she is being held on suspicion of infanticide.
The law student Petrolini is thought to have hid her pregnancy until 7th August, when she went into labour and gave birth in her own bathroom at home.
She allegedly kissed the kid and hid him in her backyard garden shortly after he was born.
She departed for a prearranged vacation to the United States with her parents two days later, according to the Mirror US.
Italian media reported that the body, wrapped in a sheet and concealed in a garden pit, was discovered by her grandmother’s dog on the day she departed.
The grandma initially called a neighbour for assistance because she believed the body belonged to an animal.
When the neighbour saw with horror that it was, in fact, a baby, she quickly called the police.
The second tragic finding of another body was uncovered by the police as they were looking into Petrolini’s phone and internet history.
The Italian daily La Repubblica claims that she looked for methods of ending “a second child” online.
Her friends and boyfriend said they didn’t know she was pregnant and hadn’t seen anything strange about her.
“I didn’t know anything, I can’t believe it,” her boyfriend told the Italian press.
He expressed that if he had known about the pregnancy, he could have cared for the child.
“I would have wanted that child, I could have kept him by myself. I’m 22, but I work and my mother would have helped me,” he said.
According to local media, Petrolini disguised her pregnancy by eating little for several months, even during her full gestation. According to a friend, Petrolini showed “a calm that now scares me” when she went on vacation.
“I’m shocked, I had to go over everything step-by-step because I was questioned by the police,” the unnamed friend said. “I can’t get over it, it’s as if the world had turned upside down in front of me.”
In a terrifying statement, the local prosecutor of Parma disclosed that an inquiry was launched after the grisly discovery of two bodies, identifying Petrolini as the only person suspected.
“As far as we can establish the pregnancies were in secret and without the knowledge of the family or the father of the first child or friends,” the prosecutor wrote, painting a gloomy picture of the situation. Additionally, it seems that neither a medical facility nor a doctor was aware of the pregnancies, but enquiries are still ongoing.
