Alex Proyas, the director of “I, Robot,” has charged that Elon Musk has stolen his concepts.
Elon Musk, the CEO and co-founder of Tesla, gave a preview of their upcoming self-driving prototypes, the robovan and the cybercab, on Thursday, October 10. The new Tesla robot optimus was also present during the celebration, interacting with the spectators and serving refreshments.
Afterwards, “I, Robot” director Alex Proyas took to X to complain.
“Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?”
He then shared side-by-side photos of his own ideas used for the movie “I, Robot” and Elon Musk’s new creations.
His tweet generated mixed reactions.
