The meals served to individuals in the IDP camps and the breakfasts given to Nigerians during the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, have been compared by Shehu Sani, the former senator from Kaduna Central.
Sani responded to a May 28 Facebook post by Babagana Digima with this analogy.
Even though they have already paid over N8 million for the pilgrimage, Nigerian pilgrims are now turning to begging for money in order to buy food, according to Digima.
“After paying N8m for the Hajj, check out the breakfast that our pilgrims are receiving!” he wrote. Nahcon Fatima Mustapha of Nigeria. This is what was said on May 28, 2024, today. In fact, some pilgrims have already begun pleading with the authorities for money so they can purchase food, as even the $300 they were promised would be paid in Saudi Arabia (out of $500) has not arrived from them.
several responses to Sani’s post from Nigerians.
