Two males have been taken into custody by the Gombe State Police Command on suspicion of participating in homosexual activities in Kanbariki, Kumo Local Government Area.
On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, when presenting the suspects, Hassan Abubakar, 25, and Jibrin Ibrahim, 22, to the media, Command ASP Buhari Abdullahi, the spokeswoman, revealed this information.
The PPRO claims that the suspects were revealed after a brawl in which one of them reportedly had anal intercourse with the other and then neglected to give him the agreed-upon N15,000.
According to ASP Abdullahi, around 10:40 p.m. on July 11, the local ward head called the police in panic. Officers from the Akko division hurried to the site and took into custody the suspects.
After the ongoing investigation is over, the accused will face charges in court, according to the police spokeswoman.

Jibrin, one of the accused, told reporters that Hassan initiated him to homosexuality.
