Due to complaints from Northerners regarding a new song he published asserting President Tinubu has resolved the nation’s poverty and insecurity issues, praise singer Dauda Rarara was forced to delete his Facebook account.
Rarara in the song said, “Northerners have said goodbye to hunger, insecurity, and poverty,” attributing these changes to Tinubu’s leadership.
The song, which praised Tinubu for “making Nigeria great and addressing hunger and insecurity,” earned him a backlash and Northerners accused him of ‘losing his conscience over money.’
The song was released days after Rarara’s mother was released by bandits who abduct£d her in Katsina state. It is also coming at a time when youths are planning to protest over economic hardship.
