In anticipation of his team’s AFCON 2025 qualifying encounter against the highly-regarded Super Eagles on Tuesday, Rwanda’s head coach, Torsten Frânk Spittler, is speaking harsh.
On matchday two of the AFCON qualifiers, Rwanda will play host to the Eagles at the Amahoro stadium.
The match comes after the Super Eagles opened their campaign with a 3-0 win against Benin Republic, while Rwanda forced Libya to a 1-1 draw away.
Both teams are also in the same group in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and will meet on matchday 5 in March 2025.
“We are in a good process and what we have done so far is promising,” Spittler said in his press conference.
“We know Nigeria is a big team with big names but I want to assure you that we are prepared and we are ready to show good football tomorrow.”
