In Kogi State’s Dekina Local Government Area, a woman named Mrs. Rose Eneojoh was shot by gunmen who appeared to be paid killers.
On September 10, 2024, a Tuesday, the mother of five was brutally murdered in Etikpolo Anyigba.
Family member Charles Umoru stated in a Facebook post on Wednesday that the k!llers disclosed that they were given N200,000 to carry out the assassination.
He stated that the dead made the same offer to the killers in order to have her life spared.
The murderers shot her dead even after taking the money.
“This innocent woman, Mrs. Rose Eneojoh – wife to my brother inlaw was gruesomely murdered last night at Etikpolo Anyigba. The kill.ers told her and her husband that they were paid 200,000 Naira to ass.assinate her. She offered them more money in exchange for her life, they took the money from them and still went ahead to shoot her, leaving the husband and 5 young Children in misery. How long should this continue in Igala Land?,” he wrote.
