For the third time this week, the National Grid has failed. On Saturday, October 19, at approximately 8:16 a.m., power generation stopped.
Remember how this week’s grid went out on Monday and Tuesday before coming back online?
Power generation peaked at 3,968 megawatts at 7 a.m. and was 3,042 megawatts at 8 a.m. However, by 9 a.m., it had fallen to 47MW.
0.00MW was allotted to power distribution firms. It is still unknown what caused the collapse.
