The Nigerians who are portraying musician Speed Darlington as the victim of his altercation with Burna Boy have been criticised by actor BabaRex. Remember when the singer was detained in Lagos last Friday and flown to Abuja due to a petition that his colleague BurnaBoy had filed against him?
It’s unclear exactly what the petition asks for, but it’s thought to be in response to the several videos that Speed Darling has posted online criticising Burna Boy. Speed Darlington posted a video in September wherein he questioned Burna Boy’s sexuality due to his tight relationship with troubled US singer Diddy.
Burna Boy was widely criticised in Nigeria for apprehending and holding Speed Darlington with the help of the police. proceeded to label Burna Boy as an oppressor.
In a post shared on his IG page, Babarex asked if it was okay for Speed Darlington to insult Burnaboy without him taking any action. Read his post below
