The eagerly awaited fifth studio album, “The Entertainer – D’Sequel,” by Nigerian global music phenomenon Dapo Oyebanjo, better known as D’Banj, is released. (OVER HERE)
Eleven tracks plus two bonus tracks make up this imaginative eleven-song album that combines Afrobeats and Afropop. Grammy Award winner Wyclef Jean, a Congolese icon, Late Fela Kuti’s Egypt ’80 Band, Awilo Logomba, Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, a South African megastar, and NBC’s The Voice sensation, Chechi Sarai, are among the celebrities featured on the global feature list.
The new album features collaborations with Nigerian musicians Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee. It is a sequel to his 2008 magnum opus, “The Entertainer.” Speaking off his talent discovery project, Cream Platform, D’Banj also featured Specikinging as part of his legacy to mentor and showcase the next big talents.

Driven by a collaboration with prominent music group Gamma and creative powerhouse The Temple Company, D’Banj is celebrating his 20 years on stage with a string of small-scale live events and concerts in major cities all over the world. In addition, he will engage with fans through thought-provoking conversations, mentoring sessions, and invitation-only meet-and-greets.
