The NSCDC tells the Kaduna bandits to repent or face their wrath.

Bandits and other criminal elements have been cautioned by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, to turn from their horrible deeds or face the consequences.

On Friday in Kaduna, during the visit of Amos Abiodun, the acting zonal commander of NSCDC Zone B, Kaduna, the new commandant, Nuhu Muhammad, issued the warning.

Muhammad remarked that those who disrupt the state’s peace and stability ought to either change their evil mindsets and become law-abiding citizens, or else they will have to pay a price for their illegal actions.

He clarified that the NSCDC’s duty as a security agency was to safeguard people, their belongings, vital national infrastructure, and assets.

Muhammad promised that the NSCDC in Kaduna would actively pursue its goals.

In order for the corps and other security authorities to take the appropriate action, the commandant urged citizens throughout the state to always provide information about suspected criminals in their vicinity.

He gave the people of Kaduna confidence that their lives and belongings would be protected.

He further advised: ”They should go to their beds and sleep with their two eyes closed.

”NSCDC personnel have been deployed to every nook and cranny of the state to guard against enemy attacks.”

He vowed to eliminate all the criminal activities bedevilling the state in synergy with sister security agencies.

In his remarks, the acting zonal commander pledged support for the new state commandant and charged the personnel to discharge their duties without fear or favour.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the new commandant took over from his predecessor, Lucy Fakoya, on September 6.
